for Impact-Driven Growth
The purpose of creative space
A new generation of social-impact solopreneurs is at the forefront of addressing the world’s most critical challenges. These Solos are dedicating their work to creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable world and building innovative ventures aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and bridging the gap with the IDGs (Inner Development Goals).
However, the very individuals committed to the public good are still too often in a state of personal and professional precarity.
creative space mission
Creative Space exists to change existing conditions for ecopreneurs, social-impact solopreneurs, and sustainable freelancers, by creating a space — or “good soil” to thrive; mentally, financially and with their impact.
Our goal as a non-profit start-up is to give these solo professionals the opportunities to be able to create and grow successful impact-businesses, have good mental health, and fair pay, by providing access to business development resources, value-aligned clients, professional coaching and mental health experts, — without compromising their values, so that empathy remains a durable source of resilience and impact. Creative Space stands for the holistic health of solos supporting SDGs.
The Unseen Crisis

This 2025 study focused on owner-operated and micro-businesses (under 10 employees), a group that closely represents your target audience of solopreneurs and small-scale impact leaders. The findings from a survey of 227 entrepreneurs highlight the immense mental health burden carried by those running their own enterprises.

Financial Instability and Stress — The severe impact of financial uncertainty, resource scarcity, and the exhausting fundraising cycle on mental health. During the COVID-19 crisis, 84% of social entrepreneurs in a study reported depression symptoms and 80% reported anxiety symptoms, with resource limitations being a major factor. (Ahmad et al., 2022)
With the challenges that come with self-employment; finding funding or value-aligned clients that also pay fairly, decision-making and the general rollercoaster ride of the solo professional, Isolation is perhaps the greatest challenge when we also commit ourselves to positive impact.
When you're working at the edge of what's possible, pioneering new approaches or challenging established systems, the journey can feel very lonely.
Yes, we choose to work alone and with autonomy, but we believe that today’s solo champions should not have to survive all of these challenges in isolation.
One of our solutions is our regular check-ins. These provide a dependable rhythm for authentic sharing, mutual support, and collaborative problem-solving. Here, members share not just what they're working on but how they're feeling—creating space for the full human experience of being a changemaker. In these gatherings, common challenges like self-doubt, mental overload, lack of focus, and navigating unsupportive environments find understanding, compassion, and practical solutions born from collective wisdom.
Nurturing Inner Development
The quality of our external impact is directly related to our inner development.
Drawing inspiration from the Inner Development Goals framework, we recognise that being, thinking, relating, collaborating, and acting effectively in service of sustainable development requires ongoing inner work and growth.
Like plants that need both sunlight and darkness to thrive, we honour the full cycle of growth, — including periods of action and reflection, expansion and consolidation, visibility and restoration.
Our community creates safe spaces for members to develop the awareness, compassion, and wisdom needed to navigate complexity and contribute meaningfully to systems change.
Through peer coaching, mentorship, and access to professional development resources, members cultivate not just practical skills but the inner capacities that make those skills truly effective: presence, systems thinking, compassionate communication, collaborative leadership, and perseverance in the face of challenges.
While individual actions matter, the scale and complexity of today's challenges require collective
responses.
Like keystone species that have disproportionate positive effects on their ecosystems, impact-driven solopreneurs can create ripples of change far beyond their immediate sphere when properly supported and connected.
Creative Space amplifies the impact of our members by creating bridges between individual initiatives and larger movements for change. We partner with social-impact organizations, communities, and NGOs to create pathways for our members' work to reach those who need it most.
Through social media sharing, collaborative projects, and strategic connections, we help ensure that powerful solutions don't remain isolated but find their way to where they can create the greatest benefit.
By aligning our community with both the Sustainable Development Goals and Inner Development Goals, we situate our work within global frameworks for change while maintaining the personal connection and practical support that makes transformation possible at the individual level.
Creative Space isn't a finished product but a living system that evolves through the participation and co-creation of our members.
Like a forest that grows more complex, resilient, and generative over time, our community becomes richer with each person who brings their unique gifts, challenges, and vision.
Whether you're just beginning your journey as an impact-driven solopreneur or you're a seasoned changemaker seeking deeper connection and support, Creative Space offers fertile ground for your next stage of growth. Here, your challenges will find understanding, your questions will find wisdom, and your vision for a better world will find the collaborative energy needed to bring it to life.
Together, we're not just supporting individual success—we're weaving a new pattern of working and being together that honors the interconnected nature of all life and creates conditions for collective flourishing. This is the deeper work of our time, and it happens one relationship, one project, one community at a time.
